Jennifer Davis, Soprano

Irish Soprano Jennifer Davis has performed on the most prominent opera stages in the world. Jen approached us to create new portrait imagery that would represent her on-stage roles and off-stage personality.

We organised a stunning London venue that would allow us to create a wide variety of shots, in a stylish interior setting. Our makeup and hair team, Sukhy Bhandal and Rebecca Chang, achieved three different looks on the day, and we styled Jen in what felt comfortable and accurate to her.

On location, we chose small pockets of the venue to bring a feeling of texture and depth to the shot, whilst maintaining our focus on Jen. The bright pops of colour in our backgrounds are typically matched with darker and simpler outfits for balance and contrast.

The selection of shots are a mixture of fun energy, alongside more emotive and confident shots to contrast – reflecting Jen’s versatility as an artist. The imagery will be used across Jen’s new website, in press and to promote upcoming concerts and performances. Working as an opera singer photographer for over a decade, we create imagery that has longevity and impact.
