Founded in 2017, Marshall Light Studio is a partnership between Frances Marshall and Sophie Light. Our individual skillsets and collaborative approach gives our work the balance, insight and perspective necessary to fulfil the needs of our clients.
Frances Marshall
Creative Director, Photographer & Co-Founder
Fran photographs all aspects of the classical music world. Her masters in musicology and background in performance and arts education give her a unique perspective as a photographer. She brings this extensive knowledge and understanding to every project she works on. Fran captures imagery that reflects the energy, drama and artistic vision of classical music and its artists.

Design Director & Co-Founder
Sophie delivers impactful designs to answer any given brief. Matched with a deep understanding of branding, marketing and audiences, she is confident to help shape and tell your story to the world. As a problem solver at heart, Sophie loves the intricacies of the design process, but is a firm believer that simplicity is key. Balance and function make her a happy designer.
